Viewing Electric Element Amp Draw
Viewing the amperage draw of your SV series electric element is a good indicator to determin whether or not your spa will heat. It’s important to firstly ensure the flame indicator light on your SV sereis touchpad is illuminated RED as this means the spa controller should be sending power to the electric element.
Viewing AMP draw on a SV Series Touchpad
- Firstly, access the diagnonstics menu by pressing and holding the air blower
, water clean 
and light 
button until WARN is displayed on the screen. - Use the up arrow
button to navigate through the menu list until AMPS is displayed. The Pess the OK 
button to view the amperage reading. - The display will show the current measured (A) draw of the controller. The approx amperage expected from a working heater are as follows.
SV2 – 13A to 15A approx
SV3 – 22A to 27A approx
SV4 – 22A to 27A approx - If the the amperage (A) reading is significantly higher than the above approximates the current sensor is incorrect & will need to be calibrated. If the amperage (A) reading is between 0.5 – 2A the hetaing isn’t engaging, this will be the power draw of only the circulation pump. In both instances, we recommend engaging a local spa technician.

- Enter the Settings menu by pressing the settings
button in the bottom left-hand corner. - Press the down arrow
button to scroll to the bottom & press on INFO System infomation summary. - The press the down arrow button to scroll & scroll to the row titled AMPS to view the controllers amperage draw
- The display will show the current measured (A) draw of the controller. The approx amperage expected from a working heater are as follows.
SV2 – 13A to 15A approx
