SV Series (v2) 12V Brain PCB Replacement Guide
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK – Ensure mains power is turned OFF at both the isolator switch and circuit breaker / RCD.
Repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician.


3. Disconnect Blower Triac fly lead.

4. Disconnect earth wire from PCB terminal.

5. Unscrew the 10 outer screws holding the back plate on, circled red. Do not remove the 2 screws circled in yellow.

6. Use small flat bladed screwdriver to gently prise the back plate open.

7. Remove the 14 screws circled in red. Do not remove the 1 screw circled in yellow.

8. As you lift out the 240V Power PCB take care of the 12V transformer wire loom and ribbon cable connection on the top left corner of the PCB (circled in red). Disconnect both cables so the 240V PCB can be pulled up and rotated 90-degrees out of the way.

9. Unscrew the 4 screws circled in red and remove 12V brain PCB.

10. Disconnect ribbon cable and heater sensor loom (circled in red) and replace PCB then reattached cables.

11. Reseat new 12V PCB in position and reinstall 4 screws to hold PCB in place.

12. Rotate the 240V Power PCB back into position and take care to reconnect both 12V transformer wire loom and ribbon cable (circled in red), then reseat 240V PCB back into position.

13. Reinstall the 14 screws holding the PCB to the controller casing. Take special care with screws located between the two black wires on back of PCB to ensure the screw does not pinch the black wire when tightening.

14. Reinstall the 10 outer screws holding the back plate.

15. Now, reconnect the blower triac fly lead & earth wire.

16. Finally, reseat mains terminal cover and screws.
