SV Series Heater Sensor Replacement Guide
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK – Ensure mains power is turned OFF at both the isolator switch and circuit breaker / RCD.
Repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician.

3. Tilt heater tube backwards as you remove assembly from spa the controller (be careful of heater sensor wires as tube removed).

4. Heater tube must be tilted to prevent thermal cut out wires getting caught on casing.

5. Squeeze the clip on sensor PCB cable connector to seperate from its fly lead.

6. Unscrew both screws holding the sensor body to heater tube and remove.

7. Use small flat bladed screwdriver to gently prise sensor body out of heater tube.

8. Clean any corrosion away from the sensor flange to ensure the new sensor body O-ring will create a plumb seal.

9. Install replacement sensor body taking care to ensure body is orientated with temperature sensor bolt at the front of the heater tube (we suggest using some silicone grease or detergent on o-ring to allow easy fitment to tube to avoid pinching/stretching o-ring).

10. Install and tighten screws to heater tube. Ensure you alternate between each screw whilst tightening to pull down sensor body evenly (i.e do not tighten one screw fully, and then the next. Make sure you tighten each screw little bit, by little bit, alternating between each screw).

11. Reconnect sensor PCB cable to fly lead connector. Ensure pins line up and connection is secure.

12. Reseat heater tube with new sensor body back into controller casing. Be sure to tilt heater backwards when installing to avoid catching thermal cut out wires on controller casing

13. Reinstall 5 screws to heater cover.
